Master murals for Michigan mansion

In 2011 Steinhardt was commissioned to paint three more Baroque ceilings, this time for a home in Michigan. The main ceiling is the dining room, measuring 14´x16´, taking as its theme awe and adoration.

The foyer mural, 5´x11´, depicts Ceres, Proserpine and Pluto ringed by the four seasons. (Left, the finished mural. Right, the foyer before the mural installation.)

The smallest ceiling, at 6´x6´, is in an alcove off the master bedroom, and shows Cupid, Venus and Mars. (Above, the full image. Below, the mural installed on the ceiling.)
